Obituary

Gloria E. Kaminsky, 80, of Crystal River, FL, died Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Diamond Ridge Health & Rehab in Lecanto, FL. Born in Hopelawn, NJ, she came to Crystal River in 1979 from St. Petersburg, FL. She was a member of St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church and an Oblate of St. Leo's Abby. She was also a member of Realtors Association of Citrus County, Florida Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and a member of Manatee Charter Chapter of American Business Women's Association. Her favorite pastimes included the performing arts, reading, traveling and decorating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond R. Kaminsky; parents, Saverio and Beata Gianfrancesco-Masucci; a brother, Anthony Masucci; and sisters, Angeline Cannella, Jennie Muccilli, Josephine Vaiana and Mary DeAngelo. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and
-nephews, great-great- nieces and -nephews and godsons and goddaughters.
A wake service will be conducted on Friday, July 22, 2011, at 4 p.m. from the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Crystal River, FL. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 23, 2011, at 10 a.m. at St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church in Crystal River with Father Paul Hervey as celebrant. A private inurnment will take place at the Dunnellon Memorial Gardens in Dunnellon, FL. The family suggests in lieu of flowers a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society or their favorite charity would be greatly appreciated.
