MAHER, LORRAINE E., 80

Ocala - Lorraine E. Maher, age 80, of Ocala, formerly of Dunnellon, Florida, died Friday, January 25, 2008 in Ocala, Florida.

She was born July 18, 1927 in Rochester, New York.

She moved here in 1978 from Kendall, New York.

Lorraine was a Homemaker. She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church of Ocala.

She loved crocheting, singing and listening to music, especially musicals. Lorraine also enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

"She Never Met A Stranger".

She was preceded in deathy by her husband, Jmes Maher in 11983.

She is survived by 2 sons, Tim Maher of DeQueen, Arkansas and Jim Maher, Rosarita, Mexico; 3 daughters, Linda J. Ketchum, Citrus Sprins, Florida, Peg Grady, Olympia, Washington and Kathy Wasson, Rosarita, Mexico; 1 brother, Gordon Knobel, Phoenix, AZ; 11 grandchildren; and great-granndchildren.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association of Central Florida, 1333 West Colonial Drive, Orlando, 32804-7132l.

A memorial service will be held at North Oak Baptist Church, Citrus Springs on Thursday January 31, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Stan Stewart officiating.

Private urn committal service will be held later from Dunnellon Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Dunnellon, Florida.
