HERBERT EUGENE MCDILDA of Merritt Island, FL.
Gene was a U.S. Air Force veteran and had a career with NASA and various other contractors until his retirement in 2015. Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Nancy in 2015; daughter, Christine and siblings, Jack and Edna, surviving are daughter, Jean Anne, dear friends and caretakers, Laura & Lydia. Funeral services will be held January 3, 2019 at the Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, Merritt Island, FL. A private graveside service will be January 4, 2019. Published in FLORIDA TODAY on Jan. 1, 2019.
