Obituary

Mrs. Edna L. Whittle a 45 year resident of Dunnellon, FL passed away on Saturday, July 1st 2017 at Estelle's Hospice House in Ocala, she was 97. Born in Largo, FL she came to Dunnellon from Pinellas, County. She was a member of the Morriston Baptist Church and loved being part of the 'Red Hat' Ladies Club. For ten years she worked for the Pinellas Public School System and for fifteen years she was a nurse's aide at the Williston Memorial Hospital. Her hobbies were reading, gardening and she loved her animals but her top priority was always her family.
She leaves one son, Rodney M. and wife, Vickie; one daughter, Sharon and husband, Chris Wisham; one sister, Lucille Walterson; three grandchildren, Theresa, Chris Jr. and Symtha; one great grandchild, Jessie.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 6, 2017 in the Chapel of Knauff Funeral Home-Williston with Pastor Keith Stewart officiating.. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Dunnellon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be given to Estelle's Hospice House - Ocala, FL. Knauff Funeral Home-Williston is in charge of arrangements.
