Obituary

YANKEETOWN - Alvin Jackson Gibson, 67, died Thursday. Born in Harvey, W.Va., and came to Clermont in 1925 and here in 1953. He was a retired electrician with Florida Power Co., a member of Parsons Memorial Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge, and American Legion. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Pallie Dixon Gibson; a son, Jack P. Gibson, Dunnellon; a daughter, Mrs. Peggy Ann Wilkinson, Stinnette [sic] Tex.; a brother, Robert Gibson, Mt. Dora; two sisters, Miss Nellie A. Gordon and Mrs. Nora Richards, Orlando.
