Obituary

George E. Wilson, age 86, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away on March 15, 2011, in Charlotte, NC. He was born Sept. 22, 1924, in Greenville, SC, served in the Army in WWII, and worked for Western Union and Home Depot.
He is survived by his sister, Edna Howell of Charlotte, NC; and grandchildren, David Wilson of Dunnellon, FL, Shalan Money of Pace, FL, Ashlea Gallon of Newport News, VA, Amanda Hogan of Longmont, CO, and Logan Spell of Homosassa, FL. He has 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon, with services at 2 p.m. Interment in Dunnellon Memorial Gardens.
