Obituary

Peggy Lee Townsend, 66, of Glen St. Mary, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at her home under the care of her family and Heartland Hospice. She was born Sept. 21, 1946, at Camp Lejeune, N.C., to George and Margaret (Doolan) Hays. She moved to Glen St. Mary 21 years ago from Bell, Fla.
She is survived by her husband, Clinton; daughter, Michelle Taylor (Tal) of Bell; stepdaughter, Shawn Hartwig of Spring Hill; eight grandchildren and numerous extended family members.
A visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m., at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Crystal River. Interment will follow at the Dunnellon Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dunnellon.
