OCALA - Craig Michael Hereid, 13, a student at Lake Weir Middle School, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006.

He moved here five years ago from his native of Homestead. He was Episcopalian.

Survivors include his mother, Stephanie Freaney, Ocala; father, Jeffrey Hereid, Silver Springs; sister, Tiffany Hereid, Ocala; brothers, Matthew Hereid and Dawson Hereid, both of Ocala; half-brothers, William Kimball, Brian Hereid and Jeffrey Hereid Jr., all of Silver Springs; maternal grandmother, Carol Kimball, Silver Springs; maternal grandfather, Stephen Baker, Citra.
