Obituary

Former Carmi resident Mary Catherine (Kornegger) Lavoie, died Jan. 1, 2000 at her home in Dunnelon, Fla.
She was born Dec. 19. 1910, the eighth child of George and Mary Catherine (Corcoran) Kornegger near Carmi. She lived most of her life in New England and traveled extensivly.
She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Harriet and Sam Showah of Dunnelon; a son Dr. Louis P. Lavoie of St. Paul, Minn.; a grandson, Christopher R. Lavoie of Boston; a brother, Clifford Kornegger of Evansville, Ind.; and locally by a niece, Ferris Kornegger Scarlett of Crossville, and a nephew, James C. Odam of Carmi.
